Nairobi National Park

Destination Overview

Considered "The World's only Wildlife Capital", Nairobi National Park is the world's only animal conservancy located in a capital city. It is a biodiverse system of savannah, forestry, and streams, located just 10 km from the buzz and excitement of Nairobi city. All of the Big Five call it home, with the exception of the elephants, which were relocated to reserves with more food. Giraffe, Gazelle, Zebra, and Impala are among the wildlife that roam the savannah.  Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled with the variety of species available like the Masai Ostrich, Hadada Ibis, Sacred Ibis, Kingfishers, and purple-breasted Rollers. Additionally, it's common to see cheetah, jackal, hyena, and serval cats. Not forgetting our reptilian friends, crocodiles can be found basking or taking a dip in the rivers, along with frequent sightings of turtles.
