Close to Nairobi city is yet another popular bird watching destination in the Ngong Forest. A short distance of a few kilometers via the Ngong Road this birding safari can be half-day or full-day tour.
Ngong Forest has a rich animal diversity ranging from warthogs, duikers, monkeys, baboons, squirrels and various types of birds. It's also home to a tributary of the Mutuini River that runs across it and is the catchment area of the Athi and Kiserian rivers.
Some of the birds you'll expect to see on this safari are:
- Bronze Mannikin
- Grey-capped Warbler
- White-headed Barbet
- Pied Kingfisher
- African Black Duck
- White-starred Robin
- Red-chested Cuckoo
- Montane Nightjar
- White-starred Robin
We will also have a forest walk just to get you into the habitat that makes up the forest.

DAY 1: Departure From Nairobi, Arrival And Start Of Tour
We begin our departure from Nairobi to travel to Ngong Forest.
We then arrive at our destination where our bird watching safari will begin.
Once over we will head back to Nairobi.
