Right down at the coast of Kenya is the Tsavo East National Park, a habitat for various big game (buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, gerenuk, Common Zebra and the African Lion) and various birds.
The wide diversity of birds within this park include:
- Eastern Yellow-billed Hornbill
- Black-headed Lapwing
- African Cuckoo-Hawk
- Somali Ostrich
- Grasshopper Buzzard
- Chestnut-bellied Sandgrouse
- Egyptian Vulture
We will get to see the mightly Athi-Sagana River that crosses through the massive park.
